Team

In order to meet the needs of Clients of the Centre, and most importantly – help the in an effective way, the therapists of the PATC are constantly developing and educating themselves in the field of Polish and foreign therapeutic approaches. This is our team:


Magdalena

Magdalena Łobacz, MA in psychology - graduate of the Sopot University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Completed the I and II stage of the Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and the Study on Addiction Therapy in the Polish-German Blue Cross Addiction Therapy Institute, with the status of Specialist of Addiction Therapy, pending certification. Additionally trained in work with people addicted to gambling and workaholics, and a course in Group Solution Focused Brief Therapy organized by the Laboratorium Edukacji i TSR.

She currently leads the PKTU centre and cooperates with the Sopot Specialist Centre for Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Prior to that she worked as a volunteer in the Prof. Tadeusz Bilikiewicz Psychiatric Hospital in Gdańsk and in a MONAR centre. She also completed a clinical tenure in the Voivodeship Addiction and Co-Addiction Treatment Centre (Wojewódzki Ośrodek Terapii Uzależnień i Współuzależnienia) in Gdańsk. She completed her vocational praxis in the Child and Youth Psychological Centre in Gdańsk and in Dogtor Foundation in Gdynia. She led development and psycho education workshops for adults and youths. Before opening the PATC she had a private practice, cooperating with the Sopot Specialized Centre of the CTSR in Sopot. She is under constant supervision of certified supervisors.


Ewelina

Ewelina Wolska-Pfeifer, MA in psychology - graduate of the Sopot University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Care Brok Psychotherapy and Addiction Therapy Specialist School. Holder of the status of Specialist of Addiction Therapy, pending certification, works within the approach of the Solution Focused Brief Therapy (I stage of SFBT). Additionally trained in work with people addicted to gambling and workaholics, and a course in Group Solution Focused Brief Therapy organized by the Laboratorium Edukacji i TSR.

Works as the Prefect’s representative for Prevention and Solving Alcohol Problems in the Szemud commune, where she performs duties in broadly understood addiction prevention (among others leading the Consultation Praxis for people with alcohol problems and members of their families, creating and completing prevention programmes). Member of the Communal Board for Solution of Alcohol-Related Problems, frequently participating in seatings of the intervention groups. Also leads individual and group therapy with addicted in the Day Ward and the Addiction Therapy Clinic of the Ośrodek Profilaktyki i Terapii Uzależnień (Addiction Prevention and Treatment Centre) in Gdynia.

During her education she completed numerous vocational practices, faculties and courses. She was awarded in empirical works contest, for her study on influence of drugs on cognitive processes of human being.

Marta Sarbiewska, psychiatrist.


Beata

Beata Wiśniewska, qualified yoga teacher and holder of RAMAMANI IYENGAR MEMORIAL YOGA INSTITUTE certificate of Puna, India. She leads a Yoga School for over ten years now. She has years of experience of praxis and teaching yoga according to the B.K.S. Iyengar method. Among her teachers were: Jerzy Jagucki, Konrad Kocot and Henryk Liśkiewicz. She participated in Yoga Conventions led by the famous teachers: Geeta S. Iyengar, Gabriela Gubillaro, Nita Metha, Rajlaxmi Nidmarti and Deviki Desai.

She practiced under the supervision of Faeg and Corine Biria. She participated in workshops of Lois Steinberg several times. For ten years she participates in the workshops of Rita Keller – famous teacher and author.
